GENERAL CONFERENCE TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS

DRIVING:

The Hilton Orlando is ideally located near the Orlando Convention Center, SeaWorld® Orlando, and International Drive.  The exact address is 6001 Destination Parkway, Orlando, Florida, 32819.

There is onsite parking.  Guests of the conference will be charged a special parking rate of $6/night or $23 for valet.

 


FLYING: 

There are two airports in Orlando.

Orlando International Airport MCO  (recommended airport)

Arrivals: Most airlines fly into Orlando International Airport MCO.  There are two terminals; A and B.

Domestic Passengers: When you deplane in Orlando you will enter an Airside Terminal that is separated from the Main Terminal.To reach the Main Terminal, follow directions to the shuttle station.  The shuttle tram takes just over one minute to get to the Main Terminal.  Once inside the Main Terminal, look for Baggage Claim A or Baggage Claim B which are located on the lower level.

Once you have retrieved your baggage, Rental Cars, Taxis, Shuttle Vans, and Buses are on the same level as Baggage Claim. It is recommended that you take an Uber, Super Shuttle, or Taxi from the airport to the hotel.  The typical minimum charge is between $35 and $45.

The hotel is 13 miles / 15 minutes from the airport.

International Passengers:  When you deplane in Orlando you will be required to produce passports and/or visas at the Immigration Checkpoint.  After clearing immigration you will recover your baggage from the baggage carousel and proceed through the Customs Checkpoint. After clearing immigration and customs you may either keep your checked bags with you, or place them on the baggage belt for transfer to the Main Terminal.   To reach the Main Terminal, follow directions to the shuttle station.  The shuttle tram takes just over one minute to get to the Main Terminal. Once inside the Main Terminal, look for Baggage Claim A or Baggage Claim B which are located on the lower level. Currency exchange can be found in the Main Terminal.

Departures: When departing from MCO, check your ticket, boarding pass, or airline to determine whether you need to be on the A-Side or B-Side of the Main Terminal.  You will check your baggage in the Main Terminal. Once you have your boarding pass and have checked your baggage proceed to the TSA Security Checkpoint.  Once you have cleared the TSA Security Checkpoint, follow the signs to the correct shuttle that will take you to the gate area for your airline/flight.

Orlando Sanford International Airport SFB

A few airlines fly into Orlando Sanford International Airport SFB. There are two terminals.  Terminal A is the International Terminal and Terminal B is the domestic terminal.  Gate areas of both terminals are connected. Both terminals contain baggage claim areas, dining and shopping.

There is a rental car facility located on the airport property.

Fees will vary for Uber, Taxi, and Shuttle services from the airport to the hotel.

The hotel is 33 miles / 55 minutes from the airport.

AMTRAK

Amtrak is an option if you are coming from the 48 states in the continental US.  Visit www.amtrak.com for schedules and fare information.  The hotel is about 12 miles from the Amtrack Station.  For $4.00 a city bus will take you from the station to the hotel.  You could also take a Taxi or Uber.

 

 

MEGABUS

Megabus is a low-cost, city-to-city bus service that operates throughout the US and Canada.  They have service to Orlando from many cities within the US.  Most buses have Wi-Fi available onboard as well as restroom.  The rates from many cities range from $7-$55 each way.  Go to us.megabus.com to see if there is a bus route from near you to Orlando.
